Maternity Visiting Hours & Open House Tours

Visitors are recognised as an important part of sharing the joy of the birth of your new baby. Please encourage visitors to attend within the visiting hours so that new mum’s are able to attend classes and rest as much as possible. We ask that any visitors who are unwell, or are suffering from known infectious diseases, should not come into the Maternity Ward to reduce the risk of spread of infection to mothers and babies.

Visiting hours and rest period hours are as follows (nb: rest periods appear in bold):

Maternity	11:00am to 12:00 midday	3:00pm to 5:00pm	6:00pm to 8:00pm
	Strictly no visiting between 1:00pm and 3:00pm

Open house tours are conducted every Sunday from the hospital foyer from 3pm and bookings are not required.

Rest period is from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. During rest period, no visitors are able to access the ward and no phone calls are put through to rooms.
