North Shore Private: a top NSW hospital

North Shore Private Hospital has been rated as Top NSW Hospital for Medical Team Recommendation, according to a 2016 HCF hospital patient experience study of 11,000 patients.

The study found that NSP placed fourth in NSW.

North Shore Private CEO Mr Richard Ryan said staff and doctors were honoured that patients would recommend the hospital to their family and friends for medical team care.

“With our recent South Wing expansion, North Shore Private can now offer every patient a single room – for a quieter, more comfortable hospital experience,” he said.

He said that as a Sydney University teaching hospital, North Shore Private is also involved in some of the world’s most innovative research programs.

“This includes the ICHOM low back pain initiative - a joint initiative with Harvard and The Boston Children's Hospital - which tracks patients with lower back pain up to five years.”

Mr Ryan said the hospital in 2016 was a renowned leader in the fields of pancreatic surgery innovation, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, cardiac services and maternity.
