The Northern Private Pain Centre is Sydney’s largest multi-disciplinary private pain centre and is located on level 4 of the consulting suites at North Shore Private Hospital.
The highly experienced multidisciplinary team of eight pain medicine specialists along with specialists in psychiatry, clinical psychology and physiotherapy offer comprehensive and individually tailored treatments for a range of pain conditions with particular expertise in the treatment of back and neck pain. Our team based approach combines the latest medical advances in interventional, physical and behavioural treatments with the goal of improving pain control and restoring quality of life.
We offer a comprehensive range of diagnostic and therapeutic interventions including epidural steroid injections, radiofrequency facet joint denervation, advanced radiofrequency treatments and spinal cord stimulation. Procedural facilities include a dedicated interventional pain management operating theatre located in North Shore Private Hospital's Interventional Procedure Centre which has recently been upgraded and equipped with the new generation Phillips AlluraClarity interventional X-ray system.
