North Shore Private Hospital Visiting Hours

North Shore Private Hospital encourages open visiting hours. However, to facilitate rest periods, individual wards have specified times during which visiting is not encouraged as bolded in the below table.

Visiting hours and rest period hours are as follows (nb: rest periods appear in bold):

Ward 1	11:00am to 1:00pm	Rest Period	3:00pm to 8:00pm
Maternity	11:00am to 12:00pm	3:00pm to 5:00pm	6:00pm to 8:00pm
	No visiting between 1:00pm and 3:00pm
Ward 3	10:00am to 1:00pm	Rest Period	3:00pm to 8:00pm
Ward 4	10:00am to 1:00pm	Rest Period	3.00pm to 8.00pm
Ward 5	10:00am to 1:00pm	Rest Period	3:00pm to 8:00pm

Parents visiting children under 12 years of age are welcome to stay at all times.

We advise that you nominate a close relative to coordinate your visitors in the first few days following major surgery. At this time, your rest and recuperation are the priority. Visitors who are unwell should not visit the hospital.
