General Information for Day Patients

North Shore Private’s Day Surgery Unit is located on Level 1. It comprises an admissions centre, endoscopy procedure rooms and a recovery room. The Unit is co-located with the Operating Theatre Suite, which includes eight theatres and a Recovery Room.

We demonstrate a leading and innovative approach to outcome-focused care for women and their families prior to, during and after childbirth. Our Maternity services have been developed to provide flexibility and choice with a focus on you and your baby’s individualised care.

Childbirth & Parenting Education Program

North Shore Private Hospital has committed to planning and providing a comprehensive childbirth and parenting program to prepare parents for the birth of their child. Classes include a tour of the maternity unit. Our educators are all experienced clinicians and are employed within our Maternity Unit or Lower North Shore Early Childhood Health Centres.
