New Neuro O-Arm

North Shore Private Hospital is excited to announce that we have a new start of the art piece of imaging equipment coming to support the work of our spinal Orthopaedic and Neurosurgeons this April. The O-arm from Medtronic is a multi-dimensional surgical imaging platform optimised for use in spinal surgeries. The 3D Next Generation O-Arm, technology enables a surgeon to have a three-dimensional view in real time, which enhances the accuracy of screw placement during surgery.

This new equipment now provides the hospital with two O-arm’s and assists to streamline the workflow for our surgeons increasing the quality of patient care. North Shore Private surgeons and staff are excited to have the O-arm working with them to provide excellent clinical outcomes, patient care and safety.
