We pride ourselves on offering the best possible hospitality experience to all our patients, visitors and staff by providing an exceptional customer service together with high-quality freshly prepared meals.
Our exciting new menu has been developed by our outstanding catering team. Our Chefs have planned the new menu to provide restaurant quality meals and an increased choice of options for our patients. Patients can choose from a wide variety of nutritious options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our Long staying patients (7 days plus) and maternity patients have daily specials that include choices such as our chef’s signature dish of the day, pan seared sirloin steak, poached wild barramundi fillet with coconut ginger saffron sauce and tandoori chicken served with basmati rice, yoghurt and vegetables.

Breakfast
Breakfasts include a delicious range of hot or cold options. Cold options include cereals, porridge, toast, pastries and fresh fruit. Hot breakfasts include a selection of pancakes, eggs, bacon, spaghetti and tomatoes.
On the breakfast menu there is also an assortment of chilled juices including apple, orange, tomato and prune and a selection of hot beverages including coffee and a range of teas and a herbal tea selection.
Lunch
Lunch is served with a selection of bakery items and accompaniments and our Full Ward Lunch menu includes a soup course plus a variety of meals to choose from to suit your dietary requirements.
Examples of our main courses include a choice of dishes such as Moroccan lamb tagine, roast vegetable frittata and chicken coq au vin. Daily specials such as smoked salmon on a charcoal seeded bun and barbequed pulled pork wrap are also available.
Lunch also includes a selection of desserts offering hot and cold options, fresh fruit and ice-cream.

Dinner
Dinner is served with a selection of bakery items and accompaniments and our main course menu includes a soup course and a variety of meals to choose from to suit your dietary requirements.
Examples of our main dinner courses include a choice of dishes such as pumpkin ricotta and pine nut quiche, grilled Barramundi, Beef Burgundy, lamb and tomato casserole, Greek salad plate, chicken a la king, cottage pie, roast chicken and braised veal Osso Bucco.
Daily specials for long staying patients include grilled lamb chops and chicken and tomato pesto pappardelle.

Dinner also includes a selection of desserts offering hot and cold options, fresh fruit and ice-cream and cold beverages including juices, cordial, red and white wine and beer.
In addition to these main meals we also serve morning and afternoon tea and supper.
Morning tea is served daily and includes tea, coffee, fruit juices, soft drinks and a variety of mini muffins.
Afternoon tea is served daily and includes tea, coffee, fruit juices, soft drinks and a variety of portion control cake.
Supper is served daily and includes tea, coffee, fruit juices, soft drinks and a biscuit.
Maternity Late Night Supper Menu
Including a selection of choices from a baguette, wrap, salad, chocolate bar, fruit cup and yoghurt.
Maternity Celebration Dinner
3 course meal with a glass of sparkling wine.
Catering Department
Our catering Department at North Shore Private Hospital, which includes a well-established team of staff, caters for our patients, seven days a week, 365 days a year. These staff plan, prepare and deliver multiple top-quality meals in the hospital daily.
Each meal is freshly prepared by our chefs in our onsite purpose-built kitchen and supports local growers and suppliers and can be ordered digitally or via our traditional paper menu.
