Visiting Hours

When you visit our hospital, you’ll need to use the state government check-in app. Due to the evolving COVID-19 situation in Australia, we also recommend checking if any visitor restrictions are in place before coming to hospital. You can do this by calling us or checking our COVID-19 information page.

North Shore Private Hospital encourages open visiting hours. However, to aid recovery after a procedure, we have Rest Periods for patients on our general wards. During the Rest Periods, we respectively ask that visitors refrain from visiting patients.

The Rest Periods for our general wards are from 1.00pm to 3.00pm each day. Maternity Ward has their Rest Period from 12:00pm to 3:00pm, and also from 5:00pm to 6:00pm where we respectively ask that visitors do not come at these times.

We thank you in advance for your understanding.
