Chris graduated with honours from medical school at the University of Sydney before undertaking his Obstetrics & Gynaecology specialist training at Royal North Shore Hospital. He recently completed a two year Fellowship in Gynaecological Endoscopy with the Sydney West Advanced Pelvic Surgery Unit.
Chris has expertise in both Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He is an advocate of normal childbirth and specialises in high risk obstetrics. Chris has a strong interest in benign gynaecology including the management of abnormal pap smears. He also has advanced training in minimally invasive surgical techniques for the treatment of infertility, endometriosis, pelvic floor dysfunction, and urinary incontinence.
Chris was awarded the 2012 AGES/Covidien travelling fellowship in the field of robotic surgery. He remains heavily involved in clinical research and teaching, most recently being awarded the 2013 RANZCOG Shan S Ratnam Australian Young Gynaecologist Award.
