Dr Franks is an orthopaedic surgeon. He is fellowship trained in knee and hip arthroplasty. He has interest in refining current concepts in primary hip and knee replacement surgery including surgical solutions that are patient specific.
Dr Franks was educated in Sydney and gained BE Biomed (Hons) and then MBBS (Hons) from the University of Sydney. He undertook Orthopaedic Training in Sydney and gained admission to the Royal Australian College of Surgeons and Australian Orthopaedic Association in 2018. He has also undertaken fellowships in robotic knee and hip replacement surgery, and sarcoma and tumour surgery.
He is proud to be part of the renowned RPAH Sarcoma Unit, and to contribute to the multidisciplinary approach to bone and soft tissue tumour management.
