Dr Noushi is a General Surgeon with an interest in breast oncoplastic surgery and surgical oncology who operates at North Shore Private Hospital with over 20 years of experience. He has rooms on the North Shore and on the Northern Beaches. Dr Noushi manages public and private patients.
Dr Noushi performs a wide range of surgery for breast cancer patients, including oncoplastic surgery and reconstructive procedures, such as breast conserving surgery, sentinel lymph node biopsy, therapeutic mammoplasty, breast reduction, implant and tissue transfer breast reconstruction. Dr Noushi works as part of the breast cancer multi-disciplinary team at North Shore Private Hospital.
Dr Noushi also has extensive experience in laparoscopic hernia repair, gallbladder and gastrointestinal surgery including endoscopy/colonoscopy, skin cancer and soft tissue surgery. He is also a mentor to the next generation of surgeons and a surgical trainer at the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons.
Dr Noushi began his medical training at the University of Melbourne graduating with honours. He completed his FRACS in Melbourne and moved to Sydney in 2005 where he was involved in breast and oncology surgery at RPAH. Dr Noushi then undertook further training and research at the NSW Cancer Institute, Royal North Shore and Mater Hospitals.
Dr Noushi was granted the Cancer Institute Fellowship Award, John Collins Gold Medal from the ANZBCTG and several travel and research grants for his pioneering work in sentinel lymph node biopsy. This research has been practice changing and Dr Noushi was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) for his work.
