Dr Sandra Park is a female consultant Gastroenterologist.
After graduating from the University of Sydney in 1994, Dr Park trained at Concord, Prince of Wales and Wollongong Hospitals. She became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2000 and subsequently joined the internationally recognised University of NSW Pancreatic Research Group, world leaders in the study of alcoholic pancreatitis and pancreatic fibrogenesis. Dr Park was involved in the group’s seminal work on the role of Pancreatic Stellate Cells in pancreatic cancer and has a number of publications in this area.
Dr Park is a general gastroenterologist and is accredited to perform gastroscopy and colonoscopy. She consults from rooms in Chatswood and performs endoscopic procedures at North Shore Private Hospital and Macquarie University Hospital. She participates in the No Gap Scheme.
Dr Park offers advice on a wide range of GI issues including IBS, reflux disease, diarrhoea, constipation, and bowel cancer screening. Her dedication and understanding, combined with expertise and professionalism help provide quality patient care.
Dr Park speaks Korean. She enjoys spending time with her husband, and three children.
