Dr Arthur trained in general haematology at Royal North Shore Hospital and then spent two years in London where he had extensive experience in bone marrow transplantation at Hammersmith hospital. At PaLMS he has active interests in malignant haematological diseases including leukaemia lymphoma and myeloma. Dr Arthur is also involved in clinical trials of new therapeutic strategies and supportive therapy. In May 2006, Dr Arthur was appointed as the Area Director of Cancer Services for NSCCAHS and is actively involved in the delivery of a Cancer Service Network across the Area.
