Dr Patrick Aouad is a clinical and academic neurologist at Royal North Shore Hospital and North Shore Private Hospital. He is a research fellow and clinical tutor at the University of Sydney. He has a strong interest in multiple sclerosis and has completed a fellowship in neuroimmunology. Dr Aouad also holds an MPhil in the field of stroke and has received a number of accolades including registrar of the year and was a nominee for the Matthew Davey award in recognition of outstanding work.

Additionally Dr Aouad is trained in the administration of botulinum toxin for neurological disorders (migraine, excessive sweating, blepharospasm, hemifacial spasm and cervical dystonia). More broadly he is capable of diagnosing and managing general neurological diseases including headache syndromes, epilepsy, movement disorders, vertigo and neuropathies.
