Dr Stephanie Barnes is a Neurologist. She specialises in the care of adults with nerve and muscle disorders and has completed subspecialty training in neurophysiology and electromyography (EMG). She is also trained in botulinum toxin therapy for chronic migraine, hemifacial spasm, dystonia, blepharospasm, spasticity and hyperhydrosis (excess sweating). Dr Barnes assesses and treats patients with all neurological conditions including carpal tunnel syndrome, headache, stroke, Parkinson's disease, dizziness and vertigo, multiple sclerosis and epilepsy. She is a locum Staff Specialist at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. She is also an enthusiastic teacher and holds formal appointments at the University of Sydney and the University of Notre Dame.
