Dr. Ujwala Parashar is a specialist Gynaecologist and Obstetrician in Sydney, combines an exceptional level of expertise in her chosen fields with a natural compassion and understanding of her patients’ needs. Ujwala studied medicine in abroad and then moved to Australia to pursue her specialist training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at the Royal North Shore Hospital. As part of her specialist training she has worked in some of the most prestigious hospitals in Sydney. Most recently, she completed a year at the Westmead hospital as Gynaecology fellow. Previously she successfully completed Allan Ferrier Memorial Fellowship at North Shore Private Hospital and The Mater Hospital. During her fellowship years, she had the opportunity of working in an extremely busy hospital setting managing complex obstetric patients and helping women with incontinence and prolapse issues.
Dr. Ujwala Parashar was born in India. With both her parents being doctors, since a young age she wanted to pursue a career in medicine. She moved to Australia with her husband and followed her dream of providing best possible care to women and their families. She has two wonderful daughters who continue to inspire her to help parents and their families. She is fluent speaking in English, Hindi and Bengali.
