Dr Suttor completed his medical degree at UNSW in 2000. He subsequently began basic surgical training and was awarded the Gordon Taylor Medal for the highest mark in the surgical primary exam. He gained admission into the Australian Orthopaedic Association advanced training program. This included 2 years experience at RNSH and 1 year at the Westmead Children’s Hospital in spine surgery. On achieving his FRACS(Orth) in 2011 he underwent further training with a 6 month spine fellowship at RNSH and a 12 month combined orthopaedic and neurosurgical spine fellowship in Calgary Canada.
Dr Suttor has appointments at North Shore Private and Westmead Private Hospitals. He also has appointments at RNSH and Westmead Public Hospitals where he is on-call for spinal trauma and emergencies.
