Dr Vikram Puttaswamy is a Consultant Vascular Surgeon who has particular interests in major and complex endovascular and vascular surgical procedures. His surgical interests include open and minimally invasive aortic aneurysm repair, peripheral arterial stenting and angioplasty, renal transplantation, carotid artery endarterectomy and stenting, and varicose vein surgery.
Dr Puttaswamy is a Fellow in Vascular Surgery of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. He is a Senior AMC Examiner and is involved in the teaching of undergraduate students through the University of Sydney. He also trains surgeons in the endovascular treatment of aortic aneurysms in the Asia-Pacific region.
